Wind River Family and Community Health Center: COVID-19 Testing - Sundance & Rabbit Lodge

To All Tribal Members
I want to clear up any confusion about the required testing for those participating in the Northern Arapaho Sundance & Rabbit Lodge. Those of you who are participating in the cutting of the poles on June 20th Must be tested by June 17th. This includes those who are actually cutting the poles as well as all support providing food and other services.
If you are participating in Rabbit Lodge, especially if you are going to be in the teepee, you need to be tested between June 22nd and July 1st. This includes participants, janitors, runners and those who are bringing in food.
If you are participating in Sundance, especially if you're going to be anywhere near the lodge and/or grandfathers, you need to be tested between June 24th and July 7th.
We are testing 9 to 12 Monday through Friday at the Arapahoe Clinic and at the Ethete Clinic from 9 to 3 Monday through Thursday and 9 to 2 on Fridays.
We encourage anyone who is participating in these activities to strictly follow the stay-at-home order and practice social distancing leading up to the ceremonies. Everyone will be required to wear masks. the elders, the tribe and the clinics are working on protocols to try to make these observances as safe as possible.
Please help protect our elders by observing these rules.
