To All Northern Arapaho Tribal Members;
The Ceremonial Tribal Elders, Northern Arapaho Business Council and the Wind River Family & Community Health Care are working very hard to make the Northern Arapaho Tribal ceremonies as safe as they can be. The primary focus will be on protecting the Ceremonial Elders in this time of COVID-19.
All those who are planning on participating in cutting poles for the Sundance Lodge, those who are preparing food and providing other services are required to test for the COVID-19 beginning June 8-17, 2020. The absolute last day to test is June 17, 2020. The Arapaho Clinic will be testing 9:00am-12:00pm, Monday thru Friday. The Ethete Clinic will be testing 10:00am-12:00pm and 1:00pm-3:00pm, Monday thru Friday.
We are also encouraging those who were actual participants in the Pipe Fast to get retested this week.
The Ceremonial Tribal Elders will continue to meet weekly to discuss ways to make the Sundance safe for everyone. Please help us by continuing to abide by the Stay-At-Home order currently in place. Wear a mask when out in the community, practice social distancing guidelines and continue to wash your hands.
